Overview

Buyback Comparison lets you compare how different projects conduct and scale their token buyback programs. Buybacks play a key role in shaping a token’s long-term supply dynamics and value accrual — a project that consistently conducts buybacks demonstrates stronger alignment between token utility, protocol revenue, and holder value. Instead of viewing a single project’s activity in isolation, you can line up multiple tokens side by side and evaluate the magnitude, consistency, and impact of their buybacks to quickly see which projects are more aggressive and which tie buybacks to on-chain revenue.

Accessing Buyback Comparison

You’ll find Buyback Comparison under the Buyback tab in the navigation bar, or through the sidebar. When opened, you can add any tokens with buyback to the comparison pane.

Using Buyback Comparison

At the top, you can toggle between viewing Total Value, % of Circulating Supply, or % of Released Supply. Hovering over any segment reveals the breakdown of released supply impact, buyback amount, and buyback value.
Buyback events are tracked on-chain to the best of our knowledge, and it is possible that some buyback mechanisms are not captured. Please use this information with discretion.
