Overview

A project’s fundraising history reveals who backed it, how much was raised, and at what valuation. This serves as a window into investor conviction and private-market expectations. Additionally, comparing those early benchmarks to today’s valuation shows whether a token trades at a discount, fair value, or premium.

Tokenomist standardizes this view, combining rounds, valuations, entry prices, and investors into a single dashboard.

Accessing Token Fundraising

Within each token profile, the Fundraising tab provides a complete breakdown. Additionally, clicking into a token from the Fundraising Screener will lead to this page.

How to Use Token Fundraising

At the top, you’ll find a fundraising overview with total capital raised and the stages of each round. Alongside this, a valuation chart compares total raised, current market cap, and fully diluted valuation (FDV), showing how the token stacks up against amounts originally committed by investors.

Below, the Funding Rounds table details every raise. Each row can be expanded to reveal additional participants, so you can follow the network of backers round by round.

Additionally, the All Investors view aggregates every participant, showing who invested once, who doubled down in later rounds, and who continues to have exposure across stages.

Why It Matters

Fundraising data provides transparency into what investors saw in the project and at what price they were willing to commit.

Understanding fundraising rounds helps manage risk. If large allocations were sold at low entry prices, those tokens may eventually come to market once lockups expire, creating potential sell pressure. On the flip side, strong investor alignment across multiple rounds can be a signal of long-term sustainability.
